Cobra Bumpers on a v6???Quick Help

got my car yesterday and i found a place that has ford take off bumpers

for my v6 i want to go with a 99 cobra front bumper and a 04 rear...will they work? i have a 01 v6

Yes, both pieces will bolt on just fine to any 99+ mustang.

I sure hope the bumper dont say Cobra on there....

The 04 Cobra shouldn't have COBRA letters on the bumper. If I'm correct... only the 94-98's did.

Yes the Cobra of 04 does say COBRA in the rear, the 99 Cobra said MUSTANG like the GT and V6 Models!

all the 01-current say COBRA in them

Oh ok... yeah cause I've seen some 99+ cobras w/ Mustang on the rear. That explains it.

What hardwares needed for mounting? do you just need Bumper Covers?

Basic screwdrivers will get the job done. There are mostly plastic rivets holding it in place. So you can use a trim panel puller to make life easier, or just use a flathead.

the 04 cobra says cobra so get it filled in if it can be with out future issues or stick with a gt rear or the oem rear.
