suspension options...need advice

Hey, I currently drive a 2002 V6 mustang with 86,000 miles on it. Anyway, I just got new wheels for my car (went from stock 16 inch V6 wheels to black 17x8 bullits). Anyway, for 245-45-17 for tire size. I know with bigger wheels and wider tires, you feel all the imperfectinos in the road a lot more, effecting the ride a bit.

Anyway, I am looking to upgrade my suspension, since it is still the stock setup on the car. Can anyone reccomend a good setup that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg? Just want to improve ride quality on my car, which has been feeling "swimmy" and lazy lately on the road for the past few months (even before the new wheels and tires.)

One thought I had was getting a take off suspension from a mach 1 or bullit from the same body style year. Anyone done this or have anythign against it or other ideas or suggestions? Also, if I buy the parts myself, what am I looking at for install???

a set of mach 1 take off tokico shocks and struts (new for 180-200~) with ford racing C springs (600/300 rate specific) (135ish for the set. and a take off rear sway bar from a gt (99-04 gt) (25-50 bucks or so used)

You may need to cut a bit on the c springs to get a 1.25-1.5 inch drop and you will probably need a set of mm 4 bolt cc plates 175 for the set

all in all thats a good start that shouldnt cost to much

Just found some bullit suspension packages and it includes the following

Tokico Performance Struts
Tokico Performance Shocks
Ford Racing Bullitt Springs
Front Performance Swaybar
Rear Performance Swaybar


found them for 480-510 for the enitre set, hows that look? What else would you get with it, if anything? Again, what would I be looking for for install?
