Paint ?

I have a 2002 V6 its mineral gray and sometime reacently the roads near my house were painted evadently the car in front on me threw some white painy back onto the hood and roof of my car I need to know if any one knows how to take the paint off with out damaging my paint. its a few spots it looks like bird crap any help would be appreciated

You can use some paint thinner on a rag, just clean the area immediatley after with some soap and water then re wax.

Get some clay bar...if your car was cleaned and waxed, then the clay bar could very well take it off as it will take off overspray as well. I am suggesting the real clay bars and not that liquid clay bar junk.

The paint thinner wont hurt my paint?

start easy and work your way toward more abrasive stuff ,as said above try a clay bar and such and more toward more abrasive things like paint thinner.

I ran through some paint on the way home one day and I used oxidation remove and it came right off~

it wont hurt it at all if you are quick about cleaning it. Especially if you wax your car alot it should take it off with no problems.

dude.....i really need to clear this up! use Laquer thinner only, mineral spirits or enamel thinner will fugg your stuff up quick, laquer thinner will take it right off just wash it good after and rewax it...its a good idea to even claybar after to get it super gloss looking
