I worked on a set of lowly passenger car heads off a 460,
and boy are those things nice! Big generous ports, nice size valves,
and they can easily support 500 BHP without a ton of work...

They looked every bit as nice as anything I saw from ch*vy and
much nicer than a set of pontiac castings I recently ported, and
the pontiac's were supposed to be a good version
pretty yukky IMO... but they are better NOW with the RGR touch!

exhaust needs help as it does for nearly all Ford engines. Once thats addressed they perform well.
Ive seen low low low 9sec passes from iron CJ heads.

the SPI V6 stuff is pretty well balanced with E/I flow, and the 4.6 stuff

is almost as good. They use the same small exhaust valve sizes,
just have better ports. The GT40P 5.0 castings were the best
exhaust flowing Windsor style heads ever made, a well ported
1.45 exhaust can flow nearly as well as a stock aftermarket 1.6
valve in many aftermarket heads. I've seen 175 claimed from it!
(and my flow testing with 1.45" valves is close to that with minimal
work done in just the right areas) neat stuff!
