Mustang v6 3.8 cool air intake help

I have a v6 3.8L mustang and i want to get a cool air intake for it, but i want to know what everyone thinks is the best intake that gives out the most HP im not sure of it my self. help?

They all do the same thing. Whether it be cheap or expensive, k&n or BBK. But you live in Cali so you need one that has a carb number.

yes the throttle bodies are different i believe i would stick with one for a 3.8. Your not gonna notice a huge difference. Maybe 3-5hp nothing huge. So just make sure it has a carb number and its not to expensive.

the only real thing to decide on is keeping the filter in the engine bay or moving it into the fender well~ overall its all about the same, about 5hp/5tq if your lucky (on 94-04 v6s)

Or save yourself some money and just get a drop in K&N filter for about $40 and get the same kind of gains.

wait there is a v6 cool air intake that says it adds 15hp for $179 and another one thats $74 and it doesnt say how much it adds. so are they just the same?

They are the same. As stated above the only difference is if you want the filter in the fender or under the hood.

Not a problem. You wanna make sure it has a carb number incase you get pulled over and they check. Most cheap ones dont have a carb number.
