88 LX hatchback?

hey i found a 88 LX hatchback with no motor or trany. the guy wants $500 for it. i was thinking a drag car. but i dont know.

Have you looked it over good? Straight? Solid body? Paint still on car or is it like my 81 (see my albums)? Etc. $500 is decent if it is in decent shape.

I'm compiling my "todo" list for the 81 right now. You could get it going for a nice small budget depending on how radical you wanted to go. I'm going big block 460 based with 500+ cubes...so mine is piling on the cost quick.

Which is fine cause I'm not building mine for the strip...mine is being built for the street with a few strip plans each year...maybe. It's not being built for the quickest time...it's being built for the best low end since that's where I will be driving it most often. Not to mention, it will be a 6 speed since it will be a street car.
