wheels and tire size

I am in the market for a set of wheels for my green 01 stang. I really dont want r's or 03's, and I was looking at a set of either steeda ultralite 2's or 10th anniversary. What do you guys think of these wheels? HOw do you think gunmetal finish would look on a green car? What about machined silver finish? Also, What tire size can I run to keep the speedo near correct? Thanks

After seeing the Steeda II's I was impressed with them. But the 10ths are really nice as well. Its all in wht you like. Get Machined or chrome not gunmetal. If you get the II's get 275/40/17 tires front and back. The 10ths I think are 8inch wide rims which you would want to go with a 245/45/17 or 255/45/17 tire front and back

yeah, once you pick out the wheels you want we can help you with tires. if you posted pictures of the different wheels we could give you an unbiased opinion on how they would look on your car.

Tony's right. I have the UltraLite II's on my car in 17x9 chrome if you want to see how they look. http://shahrum.v6stangs.com/wheels. I think gunmetal wouldn't fit a green car... you need something bright and shinny. I'd say polished by preferably chrome. White isn't a bad color either... but you can't get white in either of those two wheels.

If you decide to go with the Steeda Ultra Lite II's let me know. I have 4 17''s lying around that were going to go on, but the car is in the paper with the american racing rims. Ill take 1100 for the 4 rim/tire combo w/275/40/17 bf goodyear. Im or email me if your interested.
