I got to drive a 2002 WS6, heads, cam, gears, headers back exhaust, intake lid, and a good tune, a dyno confirmed 430something horsepower at the wheels, with a 6-speed behind it...that was an amazing ride, scared the shit out of me!

whats the fastest car you guys have driven?

i've driven all the new mercedes, including most of the AMG modified ones. 450 some odd crank hp for the mini-van-like ones (forgive me i'm not very sober right not), and the S600 with the v-12's... supposedly the larger sedan S classes with the same motor as the SL's for some reason ran faster, but i never raced any of them, but serviced them.

2004 mustang cobra.

my freind is(or was) a salesman for showcase kia of modesto. well the same guy that owns kia of modesto also owns several other showcase dealerships and a used car lot. i guess he got the cobra at an auction and was gonna sell it. well my friend is on good terms with the guy and asked if he could take it for a drive, to see if it sucks or not. so he let him, and just by an acto fo god, the same minute he got the car i was on my break, so he came to my work and we took a ride. he got on the freeway and we hit 100 almost instantly and before half of the onramp had even gone by! so we drive it for about 5 minutes, when he pulles over(still on freeway) and we change seats. so i get in and drive off to about 50, then we wait for a nice clearing in traffic by slowing and letting all the traffic pass, then i drop it to 2nd at about 40, and i hit it hard. i swear the whole road and world became a blur, and before i knew it, i had to shift, hit 3rd, loud chirp, kept on it, buddy is like "holy shit it feels faster than before!" i let her roar through 3rd, hit 4th, still a nice chirp, and after 130 i let off. all that and still able to get on the next offramp, 1 offramp after the one we got on the freeway from. that car was crazy.

Rawr 390 horses Definitely going to be getting either a 2003 or a 2004 Cobra as my next car. Actually, I'm going to buy a 1965 Mustang, restore it, sell it, and then of course get the cobra.

Fastest or quickest?

Fastest, probably my 87 Dodge Diplomat, former cop car hopped up by me. 130+ mph easy.

Quickest, probably my 64 Chrysler 300, 12.95 at the strip first time out. Got throwed out for lack of required safety equipment.

However, my old motorcycle beat them both.

My 1967 Mustang is the fastest car I have ever driven. Dynoed at 567rwhp when I still owned it. Never got the opportunity to race it, so I have no idea what the 1/4 time would be, but it was fuggin' fast and we'll leave it at that. They guy in Texas who bought it from me supposedly did a lot of other things to it and made it a drag car. It's a shame too, it was such a pretty car.

LOL... "I don't mean to be negative, but that car sucks ass." I love ppl who majorly contradict themselves. And that C230 komp can definately take a v6 mustang off the line and I've had it at 150 mph just fine... not to mention it handles and stops like a beast. Entry level... yes... then again, a v6 is an entry level mustang. It's not that bad of a car... geeze... I can only begin to imagine what you think of civics if you're bashing a supercharged Mercedes Benz that much...

I drove a Porshe 911 Carerra...it was ungodly...I dunno if it was really that fast..but it was on the ground. Plus..the people around us just kept staring. I never push other people's vehicles very hard when they allow me to drive something as nice as that..but it would have gone. On another note...I went to the local SVT dealership and was getting a few parts for my car and was talking to a salesman I know and he said there were a few cars to pull around. I kinda drove the long way around..got in this 5 speed 6er and put 7 of the first 9 miles on that car. Just cool to drive something with like no miles on it. Still had plastic on all the seats and everything. I kinda took the long way though..he didn't care, i ended up where i was supposed to be. BTW, he won't let me drive a cobra...he doesn't even get to drive them off the lot and he's sold 5 or 6 of them..go figure lol.

I like the WS6 a lot more then the camaro. the WS6 was a lot faster too, not sure what mods he had, I know he races it at auto tracks like pocono and stuff.

Hard to say, I have had a few fast ones: 65 2+2 Mustang, balanced and blueprinted 289 with all goodies, supposed to have dynoed at about 650HP, my 64 1/2 convertable stang 289 225 hp, cammed, edlebrock torquer, dual line double pump holley, Mallory ignition, would do 115 mph in 2nd gear, only had 120mph speedo, 3 speed manual trans. 75 Ford Elite, stock 460 4V carb. Pass anything but a gas station, 30 gal tank. RX3 Mazda, rotary engine, saw it on 135 mph running from Highway patrol, wrecked her.
