I know a theres been ideas being thrown around but the LMMC-CT is throwing the first mustang cruise and its an all stang meet you dont have to be a member to join heres the info

Scenic Taconic Cruise
May 30th, 2004


Come out and join us for a relaxing and scenic 150 mile cruise on the Taconic and a relaxing meet at Lake Taghkanic State Park



Starting Locations: The cruise will start with a meet at the Danbury Mall in the front parking lot off the Highway as usual. The Taconic is approximately 20 mins away from the mall and we should be able to maintain a steady pack of cars. There will be a small meeting at the beginning of the cruise. We'd like to have a small meeting to discuss the route and rules so we can keep a large group for the entire length of the cruise.


Lake Taghkanic State Park: This park is a 1569 acre park is adjacent to the Taconic State Parkway and approx. 50 miles into our cruise. We'll stop here for about 2 hours where we'll take pictures in this beautiful park & break for lunch! Pack yourself a light lunch. We will not be providing food at Public Events this year. We will however have 2 coolers on ice for anyone that would like to drop their food off with us to keep it cool. This is the point in our trip when we'll start to head back to Danbury, South, on the Taconic. We are working on a discounted rate for us that day if possible. If not the regular fee is $6 to enter the park.


Boston Billiards: To complete our circle we�ll head over to Danbury for a few games of pool and drinks for anyone interested. If you do not want to play poll you are free to break from the pack at any time. Boston Billiards is 21 and over.

Here's what the times would look like for the day:
10:00-10:30 Meet at Danbury Mall for driving instructions
10:30 and start our 20 min drive to the Taconic
NOON Arrival at Lake Taghkanic State Park
2:00 Leave the Park and start the cruise back
4:00 Arrive at Boston Billiards Poll Hall in Danbury


Please come gassed up and ready to go. We will not be making any stops along the way.


As the date gets closer we will post secondary meet times and locations for people who would like to drive together to Danbury Mall.

Theres gonna be a group of us meeting on the pike to head down to Danbury so if your down let it be known so I can pass the info.

As you see last year was 56 mustangs cruising together the more the merrier.
