I need to adjust my clutch so i have some play in so I dont wear out my throw out bearing how do I do so I have tried adjusting it under the car with the pin to the bellhousing but that did nothing please help me try to solve this probelm

if you have the manual check to see if the factory linkage allows for adj., i know they sell adj. cables for the mid 80's to present mustangs but i don't know about yours. check out dallasmustang.com or other classic mustang sites. i think your linkage is rod type. maybe you can adj. that.
well you want the clutch to be firm at the top a floppy petal is not good my petal is firm at the top and when i start to push it in i have a half inch of play before it starts to go into neutral which is exactly what you want.
