gauges

when i install my gauges that slip right on top of my stock gauges does my stock gauge light still turn on. what tols will i need to install them i have an o2 v6 stang

What guages are you getting? If youre getting indiglo guages, then they will have their own power source. If youre getting something such as mac white face guages, then yes, the lights in there will light up the new guages. Youll need two different size torx wrenches, I dont know the exact sizes but I picked some up from autozone for like a dollar each.

but what i mean is under the indiglos shining will the stock ones still be lit

yes they will unless you take the bulbs out of your instrument cluster

would that be hard to do how would i do it

i dont know how youd do it... i just left mine in, its not that bad, just turn the dimmer down a bit.
