whats up everybody,
im about to receive my brand new 2004 v6 stang (it is a stick) and was wondering what performance products i should buy for it with $2000. in other words if u just got a brand new stang what would u do to it in order to attain the highest torque and horsepower gains with out spending more than $2000. im really excited and cant wait to start modding it out.

Engine
cold air intake. 150$ (some say the 40$ ebay kit is good, not me) CnL 73mm
then a asp under drive pulley. 42%. 150$

Exhaust
MAC Long Tube Headers 225$
MAC LT O/R H-Pipe 150$
MAC Cat-Back Exhaust 250$

Suspension
Lakewood 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks 200$
Maximum Motorsports Lower Control Arms 300$

Drivetrain
3.73 gears and t-lok 400$
ford motorsport aluminum driveshaft. 200$ (not sure what they are going for)

These are prices on new gear from retailers, It adds up to 2025$, but if you go on ebay you could probably get all of this for around 1500$.

BTW- alot of people say that LT's are bad unless your car is highly modded, but that recent article in MM&FF proved that it was a gain. Im guessing with all of these mod's your car would be a mid 14 second car.
