They flows over 240cfm out of the box!
Exhaust valve is swaped with where the exhaust lash adjuster was. This allows much higher lift cams on stock shortblocks. The best news is, this modifcation was done and still uses a standard PI cam design so all the cams for the PI heads will work with these heads.
The cam towers bolt on. This means in the event of damage to one of the cam towers (oiling problem etc) they can be swapped out, this problem no longer trashes the whole head!
The heads are drilled to accepted both windsor and romeo valve covers!
These heads will be available first quarter of 2009. They have already been on a development car for 6,000 miles so these heads are not just a concept, they are real.
The demand for these heads are expected to be high. Final pricing has not been set but expect them to be competitive with fully loaded PI heads coming out of the top shops out there.

No, patriot and others have been releasing ported PI heads for them for years. There has been no aftermarket designed heads for the 2 valves. These are new heads not just ported PI heads. If you go read that thread, you will see the difference in flow between the PI heads and these as they come out of the box.

so patriot is just casting a pi head and putting thier cams on them? my bad...id like to see an extrude honed set... |

Yeah, the Patriot heads are not a fresh designed head, nethier are the Coast High I think they are???? These ones have moved the intake valve around, changed the head so that it can be rebuilt if there were a breakage where as the PI and other heads out there the Cam towers are solid and not repairable. Could get real costly if something let go.

not only that, patriot heads are not the best things out there, id rather have the fox lake ported pi heads because i know im buying quality. now if tfs does come out with these heads soon, it may influence my valve count.....

yea the flow numbers that they posted on modular was real impressive, bout time they did something for the 2v crowd. now if they decided to do 4v heads, i bet the flow would be montserous.  to rob for a good find.
