Need Help: Will these wheels fit?

Hi Folks,
I'm a new member to this message forum,
and I sure am glad I found this place.....

It's nice to have a place to ask questions.

I have a 1995 Mustang GT,
and I'm interested in fitting some nice wheels.

I dunno why, but I keep coming back to these particular wheels
each time I do a search.

(I like the look of a fatter spoke, and a rounded look)

I was wondering if 18" rims would fit in this particular style?
or.....
if all of you good people think that those are truck rims......LOL*

The size I was considering is 18x8.5 with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
Does that sound even remotely close in what might be needed?

Truthfully, I'm new to adding wheels to cars.....
and even newer to adding larger wheels to cars.

If 16" Pony wheels came stock on my GT,
would there be a need for speedometer calibration if going to a larger size?

I have alot of questions when it comes to wheels......
my hope is that you all might be able to give me some advice,
and a few helpful tips about wheels sizes, bolt pattern,
how they might effect ride,
and just about anything else you might consider important to know.

They do look like a Truck Wheel, might be to deep of a dish for the sn95 wheel ratio, you may be looking at some spacers too...

I think you will experience some front wheel rubbing problems aswell...

What about the deep dish bullitts, you can find them at www.crossroadzdirect.com

I had a feeling when I saw the pointy looking center cap.

Here's some Miglia Evo wheels (18x9) I saw on one site......
these looked like they might be a bit more suited.

I'll see if my GIF image works in getting on here.
(made it using a wheel site's "See how they'll look" feature)

I stopped by that link and saw the 18" Chrome Bullitt's !

I didn't even know that they made the Bullitt's in 18",
I had only been able to find 17" advertised online.

I got more good info here in one day,
than I've been able to find browsing around for about 6 months.

I'll have a look at the "For Sale" section,
(lots of good stuff to read through here in all of the categories)
and will keep an eye out for Matt here on the board.
It's going to be about 3-4 months
for me to save up the money for wheels.
I'm a college student, so I'm still relatively poor.
LOL*

Crossroadz Direct looks like one place that will be seeing alot of my business,
while I'm working to get some upgrades done to the ol' 95.
(Best Mustang online store I've seen yet !)

its probably a really good idea to either stick with wheels from www.gefracing.com or soem rims that come on a production mustang OR to get the off set and backspacing for a rim you like 8 wide and 9 wide cuz the extra inch wide change these settings and buy a rim with these backspacign and offset numbers for a good fitment, else they may stick out to much and what not. look at the deals at www.gefracing.com they are very good.

Well what the hell is wrong with crossroadzdirect.com I must ask. GEF Racing? I can STILL beat their prices and STILL get the same prices or better REGARDLESS! Not just me but I know Don over at V6 Mustang Stuff could do the same. Obviously SpectorV you must be a big fan of GEF Racing what's up?

Nothing is wrong with crossroadzdirect.com or V6 Mustang Stuff. But GEF has been around for sometime and a lot of people have used them and bought a boatload of stuff from them as well as they are huge and offer fairly competitive prices but I will admit they are starting to get pricey on some of there items they sell. Also GEF is just outside of Atlanta and for people in the Southeast and close proximity to them just go and pick there stuff up. and save on shipping.

Now we here do need to shop more with the Vendors who are advertisers and partners on our site. Thay is why I have decided to refrain from giving free advertisement to GEF unless they have a product that is just a really good deal and not available from our site vendors. As a Moderator I feel it is my job to set an example. I dont expect everyone to do this though. At the same time anyone should feel free to post any company's product they choose.

I understand that GEF has been around a while, actually they were one of my suppliers LOL! Couldn't handle their pricing though as they were giving me like a 1% (exageration-spelling?) discount so I couldn't pass any savings on to my customers. I found a different supplier for Ford Racing products who is out East and they are AWESOME! Quick shipments, great dealer pricing, etc.

I shouldn't chime in about who's who and what's what. I'm pretty much a noob out here, although I'm a sponsor I'm really still a noob to alot of the folks out here on these forums...I'll shut up now.

I think SpectorV and any other forum member, if they were to visit v6 mustang stuff, extreme, crossroadz, etc. they wouldn't be to disappointed I don't think. I've worked with Don over at v6 mustang stuff on a few occassions and he does great work and has great customer service from vendor to vendor.
