Last year for rear sway bars on V6 Mustangs?

While me and SpectorV were putting my springs on yesterday I found out I had a rear sway bar

. When was the last year they stopped putting a rear sway bar on v6 mustangs? He said he thought early 96 models were the last. I also have the same auto shift handle that was in my 95 V6 Stang but I have seen 1996 V6 Mustangs with the other style. Just curious if they changed mid way between the year on 96 models

lol i totally read that wrong... woops. I think they stopped in 98 cause i know my buddies 99 doesnt have it. Corey did yours come with a rear one?

No the 98 did not come with one 97 I believe was the last year for the rear swaybar on V6 stangs
