65 mustang HELP

We just bought this 1965 Mustang can anyone help with telling me what cars to look at for the power steering units that will bolt up to this one also for the power brakes. I am one of those salvage yard folks that like to see what I can find, and rebuild. How hard is it to switch out the 289 with a 351 in this car? Thanks

I'm not sure if anything will swap over. The power steering pump can probably come from just about any 289-302 car. But EVERYTHING else is different from the manual and power steering on the classic Mustangs. The tierods, ends, etc all need to be swapped out. Power disc brakes are pretty simple though.... a 351w will fit into your car nicely, you'll need a set of headers made specifically for the swap to clear the shock towers, but everything else should be fine. I think Mustangs Unlimited sells the headers.
