But I take it you have the wire attached to the rod to open them?

My friend has them on his 65 Chevy C-10. Put em on after he went to open the door and he took the handle with him. They are such a pain in the ass on his truck. They never open the door and they drain his battery. He just leaves the windows down now.

i have a safety cable to pull the door open from under the fender incase something like that happens to me
