I wanna put my ported upper onto my car this weekend, but what gaskets do i need to replace? I know the one that goes between my upper and lower, and then the throttle body one too, is that it? Also, part numbers would be awesome if anyone knows them Thanks

the one between the upper and lower is re-useable and just go to autozone and get the TB gasket. Ask for it by name, should only be a few bucks.

The TB one isn't reuseable? I've reused mine like 4 times now...

no, it's not suppose to be, its more of a paper gasket. You might have gotten lucky and took off your TB while the gasket was new. What year is your car? I'm assuming an 02 from your name. That would explain why you can re-use it. It hasn't been baked into place yet.

I don't like reusing any of those gaskets really, but I have done it. Thing is they might look ok and cause a vacuum leak and it would be real hard to find the leak.

That makes sense. When I took it off both sides had like a semi-sticky gray film on them. But none of it actually stuck to the intake or TB. So!

yea the upper you can reuse. I've never really seen a bad one of those when i took it apart. TB gasket you should always change.

The peace of mind is worth the minor cost of a new gasket
