Just a thread dedicated to the late Jessica.. yeah that's right. The insurance company called while I was at work and my parents sat me down and told me the bad news.. She's totalled.
I got my license last year in January and it took till the middle of April to find the perfect car for me. I found my first interest in the new model Mustang after I decided I needed a newer car instead of a 1965 Mustang. I found this 1999 Mustang, blue and kinda beat up inside. The radio was screwed up, seats were torn, but I fit in it pretty well. The car wasn't worth the price though, the car kept drifting to the right when you let go of the steering wheel on a straight away. After arguing with the dealership, we left but I knew what I wanted.
We went to a more local dealership but couldn't find anything I liked when we went to their bigger garage. That's when I spotted Jessica. Sitting there in perfect shape. I was hesitant to get in, but I test drove her on the freeway and it was just true love. I bought it in full that night and drove home with my brother in the passanger seat, windows down, and me with a huge smile on my face. The next day I took the first two pictures of her.
Throughout the time I had with her, I not only got from Point A to B, but I also had that freedom to go where I wanted whenever I wanted. The 460 Mach Speaker system also ment that I didn't have just an average sound system. I had a somewhat respected system in the car and I felt it was fine how it was.
I remember the first time I raced with her, against a Z28 Camaro. Sure I lost, but it was still fun. Only a few times we have lost, but more than enough we have won.
Crossfire, 2 Civics, Malibu, Nissan 240SX, Integra, RSX, Cougar, Fellow V6 Mustang, Saturn, and a few others I may have missed.
She wasn't modified too much, just a CAI and a new radio but that's all she really needed. She was still fast to me, she still perfect to me.
I did screw up a few times with her though, hitting that debry on the freeway, slightly scratching the rims, the stupid tire pieces on the freeway, and of course the accident. I wish I were a better driver, or she had a better owner so she wouldn't be in the condition she's in now.
Yeah that's all I suppose, I loved that car. I couldn't tell you how many times I've washed that car and tried making her look as gorgeous since the day I bought her. I've washed my car more than my friend has owned his car for 4 years lol But it's time to say good bye.. I'll miss you Jessica

oh fvck dude. thats hella sad. it sucks to get torn from something you hold so dearly. time to find the next jessica. maybe a nadine, or a brittney, for there could never be another jessica.
you could always find a 95-98 GT at about 6,000 in good condition. look around, there was a yellow 98ish GT around the corner from me for about 7500. look around.

actually, you might want to get a second opinion on the condition of jessica... i wrecked my stang and my insurance company declared it totalled. the only thing wrong with it was a crumpled hood and punctured radiator, smashed grille and some damage to the firewall... cost me 3500 to have it fixed, a far cry from the 5500$ estimate from my insurance company. my stang is a 97, that's the entire reason for the whole ordeal. the insurance company didn't want to pay for repairs on such an old car... so i let them total it, then i bought it from them for around 700$ (salvage title price) i let my pops do the repairs and my baby is good as new
on the downside of that though, my insurance agent was pissed off about losing the car (which was barely damaged) ...i later learned that they'd planned to rebuild it themselves and sell it at auction for more than the settlement they gave me... so in retaliation for me keeping my car, they cancelled my insurance
there's my advice, do with it what you will

Dude you need to call Dr. Phil or something, I starting to think this is turning into the 21st century movie of the " Christine " movie, but in that case you would have to call it Jessica's Biotch for the next rebuild
It will be all good man, I mean look at the situation Brent was in, he kinda fell into the same boat since he was at fault, and then he finally found another car eventually anyways...but you will be finding another car. I know its discouraging to not have the wheels at your leisure...but just be patient...

If you plan on keeping her a while, you can always buy her back from the insurance company for cheap!

Insurance company did the same with the car I had in high school and when I was in washington state(both not my fault)they took the car, totalled it, fixed it up then sold it at an auction.
My friends were driving around one night when I lived back in Indiana and found the car(I had in HS) at a repair shop and called and told me about, so I told them I still had the keys, so we went and started it up, it ran fine, all the damage was fixed, so I drove the car around the block(note this is like 2a.m.)parked it and said my goodbye's and threw the keys away.

Oh yea, dude that lives down the road from me has a '85 GT. Black. Perfect condition. He got into a wreck, all it need was a new fenders and a new side marker and they were gonna total it out.
He got it back though, saw it with a new primiered fender, so I guess he fixed it himself.

and ive noticed that after getting rear ended, my eyes constantly are watching that rear view when i slow down. i have been mentally scarred. she has warped my fragile little mind.
