Just want to give everyone a general price break down of the trip to get an idea of a budget.
For just the lake george portion:
3 nights hotel: ~$90 per person TOTAL
Food: $100-200 to eat well. Food isn't very expensive at the right places, brent and I ended up at some pricey joints this past year and that's about what we spent on food.
Gas for cruising: $50
Gas for round trip: ~$300-350 depending on the price of gas at the time...
All in all, with room and board and round trip gas...you should be able to make the trip for about $600-700 total.
To add in the niagara falls portion:
Room for 2-3 nights: ~$40-50 a person TOTAL probably
Food: ~$100-150 Food is pricey in the falls
Attractions (wax museums, maid of the mist, etc): ~$100-150
"Canadian Ballet": ~$???? depends on your ability for self control...if you just drink, ~$50...if your like me...yeah, not good.
All in all, the falls portion of the trip should add about $300-400 to the total needed depending on the number of attractions you go to and what not. The wax museums are relatively inexpensive around $10 each if I remember right but they always have "buy 3 for $xx" specials and coupon books all over the place...things like maid of the mist, cave of the winds, journey behind the falls, etc usually run around $25-35 I believe as well. For the ballet, drinks run about $5 each and full contact dances are $20 a song.
This is just some info to keep in mind for the trip. Also, the more people we get to go, the less it is going to cost for the rooms. Last year it was just brent and I so the lake george room was a total of $150 each. It would have only been $80 each had the people that were going to go gone.

I am very interested in going.  It would be nice to get to meet members n be around Kickass Mustangs n other cars!  However it is a long trip(FL/NY  ) n i dont know if i can take off enough time(2weeks). Do u guys do/or intend any meets down south!? I have lots of time for planning n that would be an owesome vacation, but i can't commit just yet. I am from Puerto Rico n ive never had a drive that long so that'll be cool but the way back would really suck! I'll try my best to make it since i would get to see so much of this great country!!  |

2 rooms with 2 queen beds.
Was told $179 per nite, but I believe that is total for both rooms. I am going to call tomorrow so I get someone new to verify the price...it's in line with what it was last year anyhow.

Ok, rooms are confirmed today.
Rate is $102.12 per night per room.
This leaves a break down of:
$307 total hotel cost for the 3 nights.
$154 per person TOTAL with 2 people to a room.
$76 per person TOTAL with 4 people to a room.
Food should only run about $100-125 per person for the 4 days depending on how fancy you eat. The only unknown should be the fuel costs...and I am working on a nifty calculator to figure how much that should be for you. I used it last year and it was pretty close. It over estimated my actual fuel cost, but it's best to over estimate than underestimate.
