I don't have very many options left, after I put the O/R h-pipe in and free the 20+ hp I'm going to finish up my custom top secret intake. That should put me just over 300hp all engine baby!!

my rims are on their way. should be here by friday or next week.
after that im off to satan to get a water pump and timing belt for the 60k maintenance.
depending on how the rims look without a lowering kit, i might need to lower it a little, im going with a eibach pro kit and some tokico adjustable shocks.
then a really good alarm with a interior sensor so i can park and leave the top down and not have to worry about someone reaching in, my freinds jeep has this its pretty sweet. only drawback is people who walk by might set it off or make it beep accasionally. but with the custom sub box thats going where the useless rear seats were, a good alarm is a must.
thats it for the year basically. well see how much i get for my settlement then ill go from there.

Hummm Top secret intake Hummmm??????
But if you are still running those 97 Catts and you were running pig rich before you got the car all tuned you will definately see 20 extra HP. I saw over 20 at my last dyno run and all I did was install the the O/R H. then I gained additional HP with the SCT tune

Ya, actually I already got that O/R h-pipe on the way so that'll help my car breathe, and I've got the 4.2L on top of that so I'm sure I'll see slightly more than 20hp. Then if I can get this intake all done that should defiantely kick me over the 300 mark. Did your vac. improve after you installed that O/R h-pipe? I think my cats are so clogged it's hurting my vac. I've done some tests and I can't really tell just how clogged they are, but either way, my car will be breathing much better. Also Corey, do you have the SCT racer package or did you just get a tune from them?

Yes it was bad idling and I was having raw fuel come out the tailpipe and My low end torque sucked big time. Jerry tuned me at the Team Ford SCT Dyno Day in Marietta, GA last November. Pete (Fordchip) set it up for me at no charge.

Was the bad idle because of no cats? I have the racer package so I can just tune it myself.

yes 50% of my bad idle was over rich condition due to plugged cats. 50% was do to the prgramming done mailorder thru Fordchip kept leaning to correct the problem. Fought this over 6 months till my Dyno guy here in Greenville did a catt check and there we found the problem. It was in no way Foirdchips programming but my bad catts

I guess it's a good thing I have that racer package then huh? I can lean out my mixture a little if need be. BTW, for everyone else that's reading this, I would defiantely invest in this SCT Racer package. I had my chip burnt 3 times at $265 a pop plusdriving out there and I think they even charged a special program fee so it came close to $1000. The SCT package is only $800, but you the owner get to tune your own car. Might be a little over whelming for some people though.

97stallion, if youre cats are plugged why not just have a shop make you a test pipe?
that way, you can run no cats and have the power, and when you need to smog/pass inspection you could just bolt up the cats.
and i wonder why apexi doesnt make S-afc's for mustangs and such. im always hearing of people spending lots of moola to get a tune on their GT or such. if apexi would make a afc that works on stangs they would make a killing. and you do have obd-2, all you need is a datalogger setup and a palm pilot unit and you can map out your whole a/f range and then use the S-afc to tune it, while never leaving youre home. all this only costs like 600 total, including the palm, datalogger and S-afc2. i dont see why the S-afc is only limited to imports, it would work wonders on domestics.

Ya, I have no need to pass inspections and I already have the ability to tune my computer/car from my own garage.
