by that time we will probably have a whole new body on a mustang.. and who knows if ill like it... the 2010 is pretty sweet.. but i think ford messed up pricing wise to... 21000 for a bone stock v6, after its all done it ll be around 25k for anything worth having... meanwhile u can get a camaro 300 hp for around the same price... ford ford ford

rumor is the 3.5 or 3.7 will be offered next year but since they already produce those engines i don't know why they didn't put it in the mustang.

The next V6 from Ford will be the 3.7L Duratec V6 and it is Direct injected and has variable valve timing for 2010 and 300 to 310 H.P. N/A and with the Turbocharger 425 H.P. Don't think the stangs will see it in 2010

Don't be disappointed just yet. Did you watch the entire release show last night? Right at the end, Ford's VP made a statement along the lines of joining them in January for the next part of Mustang history. We all know that's not when they begin sales. I would imagine that they will detail information about another engine option, or at the very least a modded package with more horses. After all, it is unusual for the mustang to have only a couple of HP options. But who knows for sure? It may be too early for Ford to be pulling out all the stops and adding HP. I think what we will see in January will depend on whether or not the big three see a bailout.
On a separate note, this release kind of sux for those folks that bought bullitts over the past year and a half. The base GT for 2010 now offers the same engine mods, horsepower, and suspension tuning (handling) as the current bullitt, and for less money out of pocket. Well, at least they got their bullitt badges.

No, if it works anything like other reveals, they will be revealing another 2010 model that looks different as they will keep changing the car up until it starts selling.

I really dont know what people expect a Mustang to look like .. I guess the 2010 looks like a Mustang should , so on that part Im not disappointed . There is never enough HP for most of the people who want more HP, but then again most Mustang buyers are not GT buyers .. I would say is the lines of the car .. It has to many curves , to swoopy. I want more aggressive lines. just my 2 cents , and I still want one ..

315Hp seems a little low for the 'STANDARD' GT motor .. I think 350Hp would be good ..Thoughts???

I think in 2012 we will see the V6 up around 325 and the GT over 400 easy.

I really hope to see a change in 2011 but on the bright side ford is offering factory supercharger options on the gt for a 400 or 500 hp version, now thats not to bad overall.

I would be very happy if you could get a GT with different HP ratings ... So say a 315 HP car looked the same as a 500hp car ...

well I hope they stay with the current semi-flat hood .. Nothing looks worse than a hood scoop that dont do anything .. And yes I am aware that my GTO has one ...It not my fault ...lol
