install is easy i did mine pretty fast. you need to run a better wire splice the one they give sucked and lost power to the unit... turned off my speedo and odometer OOPS lol but i turned around and went back home and fixed it so i lost like .3 miles
with a better splice its good to go. and you dont need to put in a new speedo gear the speedcal is designed to take the stock gearing and alter it for the new gears.
