asian honda marketed cars eat lots of white rice. Most asians started the honda tuner scene. Haters said they ran on rice instead of fuel. Hence the term ricer. |

I think it came from "term" rice burner, which was used towards motorcyclist riding japanese bikes. It just transfered to cars

 well depends on what you have done with your car. If you put a big wing, and lots and lots of stickers and make it go "weeeeeeeeeeeeee" then it might look and sound like a ricer.. but lookin at the pics on your link there, your car is not a ricer  BTW nice car,

i usually only use ricer to refer to asian cars.

If thats rice, than we have alot to worry about then...thats basically a stock v6 conv as you would drive it off the lot from what I can see from your link aswell...but if you ever get your wish list completed I read on your site, you will be leaving those v8's in the dust anyways...

I hate it...I'm not saying is everyone but I've been called a ricer just because I got a Hood decal and a Mach 1 chin spoiler on a v6...someone actually posted that on my guestbook at cardomain.....Yeah I hope someday to have enuff $$$ to start working on the mods...but for now I must stay stock

I think people are pretty ignorant themselves to refer to a stock V6 stang as a "ricer"
