I am going to purchase a bandpass system but thier is 1 small problem. I have a 2000 Mustang v6, and on the roof of the trunk their is a black shroud that to me only looks like it holds the amps for the rear speakers (the mach 460 sounds system). It seems to be hollow, The bandpass box will not fit to the back of the trunk if i cant get this out. How do I take down that shroud?

are you talking about the whole rack that holds the amps? Or just a part of it?

Get pictures cause you might just be talking about the bracket that the rear seats attach to.
Or I might be wrong.

bah, 6x8 vs 6x9 is not a big difference that you would notice. esp not being in the front of the car with the rear speakers being 6x9. It's not worth cutting metal for.

The only thing you don't get with a 5x7/6x8 compared to the 6x9 is more of a choice with the 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, or even 5-way speaker.

so it can be a little better, or w/ higher X-way speakers, but I don't think it's that big of a deal, still not worth cutting metal for.
