Its got a B&M shift kit and a B&M supercooler on it. LOL. I find at past 50 I don't get the thrill I used to out of changing gears any more. I do still have a 5 speed in my Ranger Splash P/U though.

I heard the 05s are going to come with a choice of 5 speed stick or 5 speed automatic, wouldnt' mind putting one of those in mine, or a 6 speed stick in mine sometime. hehe.

Yeah, I have seen some 4 point roll bars that look decent, and they are functional in a rollover for a little over half the cost of a light bar which is just for looks. Also makes your car stronger overall. More than a 4 point gets into taking up way too much room in the passenger compartment, something we just don't need in a Mustang.

Never actually tried to "do it" in one of our newer stangs, but I imagine it can be done if you try hard enough, LOL. I did manage it a time or two in an old 69 Mach I I had years ago, after those times we brought a blanket, parked somewhere and took to the outdoors.

yeah, well, you can make it happen, it's just not very easy or as enjoyable as it should be.
Wait, why are we talking about this!?!?

Lookin good guys I like those sill plates Rick, and i like the light bars, but i see what your gettin at. a roll bar/ cage would look cool, and kinda ties the car together like SFCs right?

Exactly like SFCs, it braces up the entire structure of the car. All of the Light Bars/styling bars come with disclaimers saying they offer NO PROTECTION in a rollover. That is why I don't want one.
