I'm thinking of getting a procharcher(11psi) for my stang i dont have the money right now but i want to ask some questions before i seriously start to consider getting one.
1. AVG cost for S/C + install
2. Cost for 42lbs injectors
3. is the extra money worth the procharger vs. a vortech?
4. can i change the pulley to get higher boost like on vortech?
5. i was reading thier brochure and it says it WILL NOT void you factory warrenty anyone have any run-in's w/ this
6. what kinda engine mods do i need 1st and how much are they?
thanks

1. Usually around 3000 for the SC, and it depends on who installs it. I'd say expect about 5 hours atleast and $50 an hour, so maybe $300~$500. I say install yourself.
2. Injectors will cost ya a bundle, look for used one on the websites like ebay on in the for sale section
3. Procharger is 11lbs vs Vortech 8lb. Also Procharger is intercooled
4. Not sure bout this
5. Every mod you do will void your warrenty, it just depends on how cool your dealer is.
6. A better cam would help ya nicely, it'll cost ya bout a $100

5. Ehhh...they can't blame your transmission blew up because you put new mufflers on.
If you're concerned about your warranty, I wouldn't do any major engine work unless you want to void it or until it runs out.

tim you do not need to be worrying about any of this. once you have been driving for at least a half a year or more, then go to the drag strip and practice. a gt cluster and supercharger are the farthest thing from reality for you right now. please don't turn this thread into garbage, PM me if you have something else to say.
and a cam will cost you not 100 dollars but several. 100 for springs, 80 for pushrods, about 200+core for the cam itself, and who's going to install it, you?

actually there was an agreement by ford that states that warrenty remains valid unless the modification can be PROVEN to be DIRECTLY responsible for any defect in the vehicle that occurs... i'll try to find a link to it

here it is, it's actually a law though
http://franzh.home.texas.net/magmoss.html
it basically states that aftermarket modifications DO NOT void a factory warranty unless the part is proven to be DIRECTLY responsible for any failure that IS covered by the warranty
so like was stated. having aftermarket exhaust won't void your warranty if your tranny blows up, etc

vortech quotes 24hrs to install theirs. but that is for the layman because you have to tap the oil pan... the avg for someone who knows how to install it is 12-14hrs. someone who doesnt know much about cars.... a whole weekend of constant work (30+hrs)
procharger has a 9psi. vortech has a 12psi also. vortech has something called an Aftercooler, which is like an intercooler, but slightly different. you can get that too and it has the same effect of an intercooler
all superchargers run off the main drive belt. in order to get more boost ever, all you have to do is get a smaller pulley for the blower. the smaller pulley spins faster at the same engine rpms and thus yields more boost
anything after the catylitic converter does not void any warrenty. after the cats, all emissions have been established, thus putting duals with no mufflers will not void your warrenty... if the dealer says it is voided, kick him in the balls and goto another because it cannot void your warrenty, period. but yes, everything else can void parts of your warrenty... blower voids engine and drivetrain, but cant void suspension warrenty. new shocks will void your suspension but cant void your engine or drivetrain warrenty, etc.
Like austin said, the cam will cost some more, but only like $200. you dont need new pushrods or new springs or new roller rockers etc as long as you get a proper grind.
