i think the 94 gt has 215 hp you can get a v6 up to that much hp but youll need alot more than cai, exaust, chip, gears, pulley. get a 99+ v6 they come with 193 hp stock and the gt 260 stock

sadly they both get nearly the same mpg.... the v6 being a pre 99 might actually get decent 20-24mpg~ and the gt around 18mpg~ the 99 up v6 seems to get 22mpg~ stock. I would go with teh v8 myself you will probably be glad you did in the long run.

My 96 V6 gets 25 mpg going to work (206 miles each way). Lots of hills and twisties though.
Going to my daughters house (186 miles) I get about 28-30. A lot flatter drive. If I keep it below 75 I get the better mileage. No AC = better mileage too, but I don't often run without AC.

Yes, you can tune the V6 to get the mere 55hp if that's what you're looking for. And the V6 will help save you money on gas and insurance.

you should go with the 5.0L. it may be a little older and i'm sure there are more miles on it but the aftermarket for the 5.0L mustang are dime a dozen. the cheap parts will easily help ur gas mileage if it is that important and you can achieve much more horsepower for a lot less money.
