My girlfriend drives a pontiac g5 with about 25k miles on it. She hasn't drove it in about 2 weeks and the temperature has been floating around the 40 degree mark (dropping about 10 degrees at night).
She tried to start it tonight and the car wouldn't start. There is a clicking noise and the engine just won't turn over. The radio turns on, the interior lights came on, the headlights were on, so I'm thinking the battery is probably fine. I also checked the battery and it looks pristine (no corrosion or anything).
Do you guys think its the starter, some bad wiring, or something else?

It's probably the battery still. Just because the radio works doesn't mean the battery is fine. It could have enough left in it to run the radio but not turn the car over.

are the lights bright? if they are than it is not the battery. I would say it's the starter solinoid. if you can get to it you can try tapping it with a hammer. sometimes that works to make it start once. if it does start than it is the starter and needs to be replaced. that G5 should still be under warrenty, or is it out on the date?

dont think it's the starter solinoid. He is hearing the click which is the solinoid. Just to be sure, you can tap it with a hammer like was stated because htey tend to freeze if immobile. Also, grab a screwdriver and crosswire it ... if that doesn't get it, then it's the starter. I think, I may have gotten that mixed up ... either way around, tap on the starter with a hammer. Solinoid is much cheaper to replace than starter ... My womans starter just went out on her 2002 trailblazer. Don't know if you have been under one of those but ... I looked under it, said the hell with it ... Towed it and got a mechanic to fix it. That wouldve been way to much work...

Definitely sounds like a battery. If its clicking, its probably not a starter... if it was the starter you wouldnt hear anything, or hear free spinning. Just give it a jump and it should be good.
Two weeks in 30-40 degree weather shouldnt freeze up a starter either...
