Is the TB on a 2000 4.2 the same as the 3.8 one?

the 99+ had 60mm throttle bodies and that is enough flow for an N/A v6. Since you have to put the stock upper manifold back on, just keep w/ the stock TB.

Not why I'm asking. What I want to know if if the 4.2 TB is the same size as the 3.8 one I figured I could half shaft it, and sell it to someone with a mustang.

Do you have a 4.2 TB in your possesion? If you do, measure it and multiple it by 25.4 and that will give you the mm. So if you get about 2 3/8" then it's a 60mm TB, if you get just over 2 1/2 inches then it's a 65mm TB

Sweet, thanks. Not to sound retarded, but what does the stock 2000 mustang come with? 60? 50?
