Do glasspacks create more back pressure as opposed open?

Well i have glasspacks on the 65, as you know...and it is practically no different than having straight pipes. If I were you I would just get 2 cutouts and then do what Rick said. Thats the easiest, eliminates all the extra hangers and pipes.

just move to florida and you can use glasspacks all the time I had dual cherrybomb sidepipes on my 74 chevy nova. Loud as hell and just as slow!

That is expensive, Summit has them for $50 for ones that open with a manual choke-like switch.
