Yesterday was sorta weird for me.
I had a crappy day at work, typical of Tuesday. I have to work with government employees who are supposed to submit updates on information by a certain time. This of course is never accomplished and it looks like I don't do my job because they don't do theirs. So Tuesdays usually suck. On a good note, a guy who had to make a phone call, yes just a phone call (2 minutes, tops), and verify that a qual test took place actually DID IT yesterday. Too bad it was 2 weeks, one hour and 14 minutes past the time that I needed, but he did do it.
So I get off work (late, because of that guy and a nonrelated issue) and go to the ford place to check on my car. I get there and the dude asks me if I want them to bring it around. I was like, "you're done?" because they were supposed to be done last Friday, but issues w/ insurance being gay prevented them from starting until Monday. Like two days ago Monday. So I had to go home and get my dad so he could drive me back to the Ford place and I could drive my car home. I almost made it too late (they close at 5:30 and I got there at 5:15 and they were packing up).
So the car looks and works great, besides being filthy, and I get home. Side note, the neons actually do still works Brent
I start to get some food when I get to the house and the UPS guy got there, so I go to the door, hoping maybe it's my wheels that weren't due till today. But my mom ran downstairs like a bat outta hell and made me go back in the kitchen. I was like wtf? but okay. Then she tells me my wheels are here and go thru the garage and get them. I run out there and get my wheels, cut open a box and DAMN they look sweet!
Then I came back in the house and my parents had my new Inspiron 9100 laptop that my grandparents got me for graduation. This thing is huge! It's awesome, but I haven't had much of a chance to play around with it. I knew they were going to get me one, but I didn't even know they had ordered it yet.
We went to church last night (gospel meeting... church all week) right after all that and my gf came and brought her 1 and 5 year old brothers. Lots of explaining that the kids were indeed NOT mine. Old people are so nosy and annoying at times..
Then after church they all came over to my house, so I had to keep my wheels and laptop away from Jesus (the 5 y/o) cuz he is WILD. They left about 10 and I stayed up most of the night playing on my laptop.
So now I'm at work and tired
About an hour of yesterday was awesome. I got my car back, my wheels, and a new computer in about one hour.

for me!
