O.K. I know I am asking for this, but I have to know. I have been told on several occations that my car looks rice. I don't care to get flames, just honest opinions. I think it best to see the car from the url http://overkill.mach1customs.com. I also know "whatever makes you happy", but to be honest, what others think of your cars means alot to the owners. All I was going for was the nestalgic look, but apparently, most people don't see that. I need opinions from true mustang enthusiasts.

its definitaley "newstalgic"! The Vee style fender emblems are awesome, and I am undecided about the emblems behind the 1/4 windows (even though that is definiately a classic mach thing). The only things I don't like are the bra or the steering wheel cover but it is your car and I don't want to make you change it.

Well, I had already decided to get rid of the bra and the steering wheel cover. I ordered a complete set of Mach 1 floor mats to finish off the interior.

your car is the opposite of rice dude.
I didn't like the emblems behind the 1/4 windows at first, but I love them now.
The only things I didn't love about your car are leaving. The bra, steering wheel cover, and floor mats.

On a black car the louvers look good but I am not sure other colors could get away with it.

Well, this has defintely been interesting. I posted this same thread on 4 different forums and the results have been really interesting. To explain a little further, I had been getting flamed by a few people that my baby looks rice. After reading most of the posts, I have come to realize that there is no such thing. I have had posts that said, "definitely rice" and some have said the opposite. What I have come to realize is that if someone says the Mach looks rice, most likey they are a purists and probabably own a GT, Mach or Cobra that is completely stock. The ones that really like everything I did seem to be much more expressive and tend to be more out-spoken. Everyone else is in the middle. Various asthetic mods were commented on and suggested I get rid of them, but not all at once. Some didn't like this and some didn't like that. After pondering this for a while, I come to realize that personally, I like what I've done and I shouldn't let anyone else make my car into theirs. I guess I just got overly sensitive when it comes the Mach. She's my first, so I tend to get quite emotional.
I really appreciate all of your opinions and comments. It's helped me realize that I'm the one who is important and what I like and if someone doesn't like what they see,
THEY CAN SUCK MY SHAKER!

I must say Bra's are ugly but serve a purpose. I think they are good for having for interstate traveling to keep bugs, grit and loose rock kicked up by Trucks from wrecking havoc on the front bumper and hood paint. The acidic nature of bug goo on paint is not pretty, it etched into the paint.
