I hate to do this but..
If anyone local is interested...
I'm going to give as much detail as possible..
I am relocating to Southern California, and I cannot bring this car with me, I am leaving end of January, so not too much time to move the car..
The car is a 1992 LX hatchback - Original v8 car, black on black, 5 speed, a hair under 120k miles on the car, but still driving it, might surpass that
asking price is $4500
I know people love to bury the 'bad' but I'll be up front about it
*********
The car is not perfect, it's been driven basically it's entire life, not a garage or trailer queen..
I've put about 8k miles on it since I purchased it in August of 2005 (certified ford tech..)
It's got some dents and some dings, the worst is that it's got a few rust issues (Hatch and passenger side A pillar, body drain had backed up..) - I have pictures of the rust issues..
The car has some oxidation on the bumper/mirrors.. Cleans up with some armor all for a week or two, but it's still there..
Last major issue I can think of.. trans grinds third pretty bad, however... I have a world class T5 to include in the sale that I picked up off a friend who's fox had been hit by another car, ~3k miles on the trans, supposedly.. paid $550 for it, assuming I would just throw it in if the T5 the car currently ended up bothering me enough or actually breaking.. hasn't reached that point yet
****************
BUT - the car is straight, and mostly very clean... It looks really good from a few feet away, as is typical of a 16 year old car
Just replaced/fixed the brakes on all 4 corners.. Tires were replaced in March.. nothing special, Falken Ziex 512s, stock size..
The mod list..:
DSS 331 Pro Bullet stroker shortblock- pro lite pistons,
Level 10 CNC block
Aluminum Main Support System w/ARP studs and main bolts
Nodular iron large fillet stroker crankshaft
Forged I Beam connecting rods
Race Balanced (to .028 oz imbalance) and CNC blueprinted/assembled
DSS 7qt oil pan w/tap (ready for supercharger oil return)
High volume oil pump
When I ordered it, i requested ~stock compression (so it is basically begging for boost, which had been my plan but as projects go.. it was put on hold..)
Anderson N41 cam, 1.7 crane RRs w/trickflow springs, new FRPP lifters
'93 cobra heads (GT40)- fully ported intake/port matched (to header) and polished exhaust
O-Ringed head (not block) - using the head gasket made for this setup on summit (so it fits in the o-ringed head and works with the basic block) supposed to help when boosted...
GT40 tubular upper/lower intake, port matched to head intake
trickflow TB (I believe trickflow, previous owner installed this)
BBK chrome fenderwell CAI w/ 80mm Mass air for 24# injectors
FRPP 24# injectors with walbro 255LPH fuel pump behind it
BBK shorty headers (came with the car, never changed them as the heads were port matched to them) with the C Clip exhaust bolts, so they don't back out - MAC prochamber to MAC stainless catback w/flowmaster 40s
Romac aluminum .028 oz balancer, fidanza aluminum flywheel w/centerforce clutch Factory T5 (but I have a barely used world class T5 waiting to go in if this one gets worse - I can sell with the car if needed to make a deal)
FRPP aluminum driveshaft and 3.73 gears/ rebuilt it when I installed the engine
Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms
Energy Suspension poly engine/trans mounts
pro-5.0 shifter
Radical Racing dyno tuned this using a diablosport chip (but custom tune) the car put down only 310HP@5800 and 348 ft-lbs @ ~3700 at the wheels - (I'm not going to argue these #s as that's what the dyno showed, however the operator claimed it is a loaded dynojet, better for tuning, worse for showing power)... the car is waiting for boost, and its got the bottom end to handle it- even so its a lot of fun as it is..
Mechanical oil pressure and water temp gauges inside the car, but the water-temp gauge needs a new mechanical line in order to work, the oil pressure gauge works fine

I am available to show the car basically up until the end of January, don't really want to part with the car but I can't keep it..
Thanks
