Kerry shows up at a Detroit rally in a Rolls Royce.
And this idiot thinks he's got what it takes to be President?
Not. Just shows the left's true opinion of us common swine. "let them eat cake".

One, he married into money.
Two, what do you want him to show up in? A Ford Probe?

Why didn't he arrive in his own car, supposedly a Dodge 600? Or one of the "family's", but not his, SUVs?
Any one with thier head other than up thier orifice knows Detroit builds what? American cars. You think those union types showing up for his rally appreciate:
"One, he married into money.
Two, what do you want him to show up in? A Ford Probe?"
Even I know better than that. However, I continue to hope he keeps on doing things like this.

A Rolls is like a limo, so what's the big deal?

What's the big deal?
Ok, let me explain this. My Dad is a democrat, always has been. I asked him once why that was so and he said because the "Democrats are for the working man." I don't agree with that theory but it's his opinion and he can keep it.
So now JFK shows up at a rally in a town full of people who build domestic vehicles. In a car built by a german company. You think there aren't any domestic limos?
JFK opposes free trade to placate his union supporters, yet he is seen in a, not yet available to the public, vehicle garnering lots of publicity for a foreign owned company who is in competition with the companies that employ the people he's thier to have see him. Of course the people offended by his choice of vehicle aren't the company's target audience anyway so who GAF what they think.
A large part of politics is image, the left has tried to paint GWB as "stupid" and yet as time rolls on it's shown to those who pay attention who the stupid ones are. Shall we revisit the "axis of evil" speech that the left so roundly jeered, and yet now thier mantra is "why didn't we attack North Korea (or Iran) instead of Iraq, they are more dangerous". There are other examples of this, but it's off tangent.
JFK has tried to portray himself as being "for the working man" to lure the suckers in.
You really think a trail lawyer pretty boy and a multi-millionaire sansaclue are representative of the working man? Even have any concept what a working man's life is? The answer is obviously answered by thier actions. "Oh, let's show up in the heart of the domestic automobile industry in a shiny new foreign car and tell them we are for the working man". Right.
As an aside Rolls is owned by BMW. BMW is a german company. We all know Germany's position in the war on terror. Is their a connection? Dunno, right now I'd say no. But if John-John start jetting around in Lufthansa jets, eating French bread and drinking Russian vodka I'm gonna change my mind.

Yes but if he had a brain a Lincoln would have done. If you look at his past voting in congress, you will find he will weaken America's future abilities to defend herself (IE :He has not voted for defense spending for the military ever! ) so what makes you Kerry supporters think hes the best man for the job anyway? what makes you think you and your families are so secure under the leadership of him?

Very good, plstktnkr.
The left is against defense. Be it defending the US (let the UN do it) or defending yourself (no guns). There is a reason they don't want you to defend yourself or the US to be the predominate military in the world. It's so they can ram thier agenda down everyone's throat without much hassle.

Indeed, of course the next line in that quote sums up Kerry's thinking, imo
"Then again, if you're buying a Roller, chances are that caring for it is someone else's job."

The big dummy should have shown up in a Caddy Escalade, or a Lincoln or something remotely american, but actually I'm glad this big dummy did this, it just helps Bush get more votes. Even though your vote is suppose to be a big secret, I'm voting for Bush. Did I say that out loud.

Now that is an interesting spin isn't it. Instead of dealing with the problem, they blame it on the little guy then try and make it look like its all g-dubs fault. Thats just too funny, I mean, i did that when I was like, what, 6?

I'm a Bush supporter ok, so lets get that out of the way,
But did anyone actually read the link?
He didn't show up in a RR it was simply on a logo of the press pass.
Just thought I would clear that up.

Damn, I'm a maroon, I did read the article. Oh well, that mitigates it somewhat. One does wonder why the RR logo was on the pass. Corporate sponsor? You know it is illegal for a foreign entity to donate to a presidential campaign.
