no the dodge spirit srt4 is his founding father. i think it was a 2.2L I4 turbo. my dad had a 89 spirit which we called the "zippie" cause it was a peppy little car. i wish he had gotten the srt4 version, they only made like 4000 of them, theyd be fatty sleepers if someone had one and knew what to do with it.

There was never a Spirit SRT4.
There was a Spirit R/T, 225 hp DOHC turbo motor. It had a tendance to crack the heads and they weren't cheap to replace.
With the exception of the Omni/Horizon platform all FWD MoPars of the 80's and early 90's were based on the K car, even the minivans. Wasn't till the Neon came out that there was no longer a K car basis to them.
