friday night, i was invited to a girls house for dinner with her family, bla bla bla, i left there at about 1:15, and was on rt29, speed limit is 55 on the road, well, a older camry slowly passes me on the left lane so i goose it next to him, we both slow down to about 45mph, then we both just floor it, my car downshifts, his car downshifts, and he slowly creeps away from me, then we blow by a cop at 60-65mph, so i about shit myself, slow down, pull onto rt100, set the cruise control to 60 and just cruise home
chalk up a loss for the 3.8L |

lol you couldve just raced by the cop he prolly wouldnt have noticed the difference between normal traffic and a camry vs a fox 3.8 bird racing.
on a side note, my clutch is barely holding on anymore, if im in 3rd and i get maybe 10lbs and are at 3/4 throttle it slips till i let off. i couldnt race nobody last night. an act 2100lb clutch kit is on its way.............

I raced a friend in uh.. crud I forget his car.. some import though. He had manual, we both stopped at a light and waited for it. When it hit green we took off, he never had a chance. I beat him, we then were at the bottom of this hill, already slightly uphill. I waited for the countdown, but somehow his import beat my car up the hill. Guess he's got a lighter car? I dunno. Or good shifting on his part. We just wanted to see what was faster, he didn't want to tell me how fast his car was at the time so *shrug* I think maybe around the same as mine.

yeah dude, im definatly down, just give me a day and time and place that i should be familiar with
well...take a ride in my car, if you rode in it, youd be suprised i even kept up with a camry...car is rated at 120hp, 215 ft/lbs, 3400lbs, automatic AND has 174K on it, you know how much work it takes to powerbrake!? |

how bout u give me a place and i should know where about its located, i drove by disney road last night off of clarkstation rd or burns crossing rd, it was dark but i was gonna go down and see if i seen ur car :-p |

tbird u know where the greenway bowling alley is? where 32 goes over 170? u wanna meet in there parking lot one day? tricky to get to cuz they dont have one road that gets to it no more.
directions: 170 south
before u get to the next light u will see a small sign that says "greenway bowl ->" that road is Mayfield Rd. make a right, follow to lokus rd and make another right. follow to parking lot
if u miss mayfield (small sign) goto the next light make a right on betson ave and follow it to lokus rd, make a right.and follow to parking lot.

i somewhat know where greenway is, ive been there once before, and yeah, it was a bit tricky to get there
hmmm, even meeting somewhere like Luckys probably wouldnt be a bad idea, since its easy as hell to find, you doing anything thursday? |
