Driving Across America..Anything fun to do?!

I'm driving from Northern Massachusetts to Southern California.. Basically across the United States. You guys are from a lot of different states, so I figured you could give me some good places to see. Please only cool things, don't waste my time with small/pointless landmarks in your town  . Heres a picture of a map of where I'm going. Thanks guys!

well you are only touchin the tip of my state...so have fun be safe BUT i did some work on your map, if i was going on a road trip (In RED) i would start in Indy, then end in Indy...

I roadtrip all the time from Philly to Chicago, and I'm from California. I know the country. Given your route.....definitely hit up Chi-town, Vegas, LA. Nevada/Utah area theres huge expanses of desert, no way in hell any cop has any place to hide. I've gotten well over 100 many times. |

i have been in most of the states and lived on both coasts and know lots of places. what are you into. i'm not going to make a long post about places to go and you just saying my places are boring etc.

I would modify your map just a little. You have the map crossing thru the Great Divide in Colorado. Just some advice... with year round snow there, the roads suck and with the mustang's crappy oversteer in wet/snowy roads, you might want to reconsider the mountain pass.
I personally would head south to Atlanta or so and just take I20 or I-10 all the rest of the way west. You will have great weather the whole way that way guarenteed.

hmm.. well.. you go about 200 miles from where i live.. but it seems you go near cedar point in ohio. that would be really awesome to check out. it has some very awesome coasters.. ex-world record holders and current world record holders.. and some cool ones that didnt break any records haha.

wow youll be about 2 miles from my house when you pass through iowa. Have fun driving through that state though... theres a WHOLE lot too see  lol
