Anyone going to the NMRA Nationals at Atco raceway on Aug 14th. Its from the 13th-15th in Atco, NJ. Wanna get a cruise goin if there are any north jersey peopel goin.
I won't be racing in the event (stock v6 w/ no mods...oh and I don't have any money lol), but I would like to go and watch. I was aiming for the Friday because it's only $10 to spectate.
Where in NJ are you located? If we're both going down on the same day, there's no sense in not cruising down
Can't make it this weekend.. I will be there next friday (20th), though trying out my 02 GT.. my 89 just broke 175k miles, I'm pondering if I should bring it back to the track on its original engine, I'm sure it'll take it but I have a heart :haha:
if anyone's headed to atco next friday, give me a heads up, so I can keep a lookout..
Yea I can't plan that far ahead, and at best I won't be back down there in awhile (it's a 2 1/2 hour drive and thats pretty darn long to be making back to back).
sorry to hear you can't be there this coming saturday...its gonna be one hell of a meet
I got lots of pics and the film is being developed as we speak. I should have them back tomorrow and hopefully get them all scanned and uploaded by tomorrow night. I'll be posting them on a website I just quickly (10-15 mins tops) put together for the event. So don't be dissin' my skills....
Here's a preview for anyone who's curious...Obviously the pics link is not uploaded yet and all the the results links are empty on NMRA's site because the event ends tomorrow (Sunday). I'm sure they'll have the results added, at the latest, Tuesday.
I've been so busy with it getting close to going back to school and trying to find a job that I forgot to scan them.
I did get them developed and they are sitting right next to me, all I gotta do is scan em. I'll try and get it done this weekend...Sry for the delay lol
Pics are now uploaded...Just click the link towards the bottom of the page...You can't miss it.
If you have any questions about the pics, feel free to ask. Since most are probably going to ask about the boy, it was a custom wagon that his father (one of the racers there) made. Contains a racing wheel, guages, pedals, seat, and nitrous. Yes, that is a real nitrous hookup with a purge in the front. Unfortunately, my camera shutter wasnt quick enough to capture the actual purge. oh well...
nice pics. that guy with the flames mustang lives aroudn the corner from me. I dont like everything that he did. I hate spinners but his car does sounds nice.
