same reason i need, a 01 mustang convertible. a 65 mustang, a 92 explorer, a 83 cougar, and a 68 impala... cuz there will never be a garage big enough, a spray booth large enough, a wallet fat enough, enough engine lifts, to many car lifts, to many projects goings at once, and ther will never ever ever be to much horsepower. its a wonderful world.

^^^lol hes gonna weld 2 engines together jesse james style.
i too was pondering the idea of going to the junkyard and finding the 6bolt 1st gen 4g63 motor for the eclipse, and build that up to handle 25lbs of boost and nitrous, but i realized that it would be useless in a fwd. 350hp is a very attainable and cheap goal for a turbo eclipse. so thats what im shooting for. btw theres a guy with a ~400HPish gsx running low 12's on pump gas on my other site. but 13's are my goal now.
thats gonna be so fun making a 4.2 and swapping it in all at once, its gonna be a totally new beast.
you know what, you should save and do a sweet turbo setup, you can be one of the very few with a turbo 6 stang. just get some wiseco pistons, forged rods and crankshaft, and have the block cryo dipped(that process that makes it like 200% stronger) and you could run a good amount of boost. that would be sweet, the admin of v6stangs and also one of the record holders for quickest street stang.

Just some advice, if you're going witha single port 4.2, dump you current exhaust and go with an off-road h-pipe or high flow cats.
