No big burnout needed. Just a quick clean off & launch like hell.
So tread life should be pretty good.

That is exactly what my friend did. He has a 94 Cobra with a 347, and they hooked just fine with a quick spin to clean them off. Cut a 1.6 60'.

Damn!! I need a set of those. Do you leave them on the car, or just put them on for the track? I've got an extra set of wheels that'll fit on my car and I've been debating about getting a set of track-only tires for them (ET Streets or ET Drags). I might have to consider those, too.
