My 35th anniversary hood scoop is just for looks. I have enough under the hood to give me better than 300bhp, cobra brakes and suspension and 03 cobra IRS, she is a corner carver which is what I like!

Rick, i have a question. I just put on my hood scoop, it is the regular 01-04 GT style and i had to drill a sh*t load of holes. They damn thing still doesn't sit right. I went out to look at all of our brand new mustangs, and they don't even sit exact. This is very frustatring, being the perfectionist that i am. does you 35th/bullitt scoop sit very flush with the hood with only double sided tape and one or two screws? I would really like to know, i will switch if this is the case.

Ted, I wish I could say it does, but no, it doesn't either, you can see a little air under the front corners of the thing, I could never get it to sit on there just right either. Sorry buddy. A body man might be able to get one to sit on there better, dunno, but I don't know how they would.

I think it would call for extensive work i.e. trimming, fastening, etc. Or just strategically placed pieces of a handyman's best friend....duct tape!
Thanks Anyway!

Hey Squirrelly! Sorry, i had to. I have my stock 17x8's if you need different rims but don't want to spend alot. I think if I don't sell them I may have them professionally painted or powdercoated. I think dark shadow gray or black would look pretty nice. They would look really custom if you got some and had them done in white. Look kinda like saleen/mach1/Gt mix.

I could probably meet you half way. I am close to rockford which isnt that far away from Lake Forest. I believe Lake Forest is a subsidiary of Chicago, isn't it?

Nope, Allison. I'm gonna get some pics of her soon and put them up though. Could be twins.
