Mass Air Flow and Cold Air Intake

Can someone tell me if Mass Air Flow and Cold Air Intake systems are the same thing?

No the Mass Airflow Snesor is located attached to the air intake tube. A CAI is the tube it attaches to.

If you look at the Throttle body and follow the air inlet tube to the fender well you will come to athe sensor it has a little box mounted on it with wires that go into the fender well. That is the MAF. if you got a aftermarket CAI the entire ir intake tube would replac ethe black rubber snorkle looking tube
