What mods do you currently have? Unless you have a stroker or power adder 70mm is overkill

From what I have heard, it is not a direct bolt up. Modifications need to be made to make it work correctly.

In your current state it will most likely cause a loss of hp.

Porting the intakes will do more for you,
and the 70 takes extensive mods. I did
one for Capt. Kirk (silver2000) and he got
post removal and crossover tube work to
boot. He is gonna run an SC with it. But
to add to what these guys said, I would
use it for high RPM 3.8's, power adder
setups and strokers. Most street 3.8's
are fine with a stocker that is modded.

With a cam and porting, I would say YES.
For minor mods, (just boltons) and modest goals, maybe not.
Depends on your budget, and headers are not
a good dollar/HP ratio on near stock cars.
But the LT's and a cam and porting is a great combo!

I completely agree, you'll need a huge air sucking engine to require a 70mm TB.

RGR.
What do you think about LT's with my new setup?
Worth it pre-blower?

Like Robert said No cam no Lt's. Dont waste money chasing advertiser claims. Most claims are based on GT's and they use them for V6's and that is a scam!!!

Yes, since you are getting the cam, porting, and all that.
But if you were staying NA the cam and or header requirements
would be change, you can do it pre-blower but I would say
you stand to gain minimally in teh pre-blower setup, your cam
has extra Exhaust duration (for the blower) and that plus LT's
will over-scavenge the exhaust a bit, but at this level it may be
a very minimal power (imperceptible) power loss, but perhaps
a noticeable mileage gain!

Starting in 99 the stock pulley & harmonic balancer became a one piece unit.
So to go to an under drive pulley you have to get a replacement balancer and the new pulley. Pre 99 you just need the new pulley.

when i get my heads/cam/intake swaped i plan to go with long tubes and high flow cats and run it out to tips but till then or till you have motor work or a blower heads are worthless.

When you order for a 99+ you get a new harmonic dampner & the Underdrive pulley in the kit.
