ok i need help, as some of you might have noticed i have been wanting a manual for a while now. now we just got a 2002 silver v6 manual in that i can pick up for about 6k only catch is that it has 40k on it , and im thinking that if i get on of my tech buddys to look it over it should be ok? i mean what do u guys think the life expectamcon these cars are? i guess there will be more but the price is just so good and i have been killing for one of these for so long now.
so which one would u guys pick, a 2003 v6 with a auto with 9k on her
or a 2002 v6 with a manual with 40k on her or C) a 2003 eclipse with a manual with 18k on her

as for the life expectancy, my bird has about 176K miles on it, which has an earlier, weaker 3.8L, not even full fuel injection, on the factory headgaskets
the only major problem was the waterpump

DO NOT get a 2000+ eclipse. they are the suckiest cars mitsu have ever released. theyre crap to mod, and dont hold value, and ugly, and weak and powerless, and ugly.
ill put it to you this way.
if i had a choice between a 2003 V6 manal with 40k for 6,000, or my 97 eclipse gst manual with 60k for 7500, i prolly wouldve went with the stang. the 99+ stangs still are one of the most agressive looking cars out there today, aside from a ws6 or firehawk on your rear mirror. i wouldve taken the stang and made her more show than go but still i wouldve taken the stang. 40k is nothing, its barely broken in.
the 99 stang that got me into the v6 crowd had 130k on it and they wanted 11 grand for it, and i still almost got it, it was my freind who talked me out of it and im kinda thankful he did but i still think how sick looking a stang i wouldve had with 3 grand into it that i used for rims/tires, clutch, timing belts and some go fast stuff for the eclipse.
btw the 2000+ eclipses suck. no matter a gt, gs or gts i still whooped all of them when i was stock and i roll them up easily with minor mods now. most of them are owned by stupid ricer punks who think theyre tyrese in 2F2F. the one in my city has some tribal black vinyl on the silver color, spyder, big wing, tribal mirror tint and black painted stock rims. the epitome of suckage.
