got a 1999 v6- i wanna get rid of the rev limiter- what do i do and how... second i wanna get a sound system not to expensive maybe just a sub and an amp.... any suggestions

actually the best Amplified Sub I have heard is the Infinity Basslink it is fantastic for someone on a budget but wants a nice tight sound. I know there are people here that have have stuff that will blow it away but the Basslink is a well made quality product. I was stunned by the ability of it.

ive got 1 10 inch sub hooked up to my 5 channel amp that runs my entire system... it only gets 100 watts but its nice clean sound, and thumps pretty hard for the little power it gets.

I've got 2 10' Sony Xplods(not the cheap kind at walmart) mated with a 1200 watt amp. The subs can handle 1100 watts peak each which blows all others in the price range away. Stop by your local Best Buy they have pretty good deals.

As far as the stereo goes..it all depends on how much you want to spend. You can spend anywhere from 100 bucks for a sub and amp, to whatever your heart desires lol.
