17x9 in front and 17x10 in back
You dont need that much tire but its looks awsome
Downside you cant rotate them
Your going to need a 305-315 tire for a 10" rim and aa 275 for a 9"

you dont need a 305-315 on the 10" rim. Ive got 285s and theyre plenty big enough... 295s would be perfect on the rear for a 10" rim and 265-275 on the 9"
Id recommend falken, or yokahama's as far as tires go. Heres a rear shot of 285 falkens on my 10" rears

you CAN run a 285 on a 10 inch rims.... but a 295 is BARE minumum unless you like curbed rims.... i would do it right and run a 305 on the rim, but really there is no need for a 10 inch rim out back to slow you down even more (extra weight) it may look good but you cant rotate... which is bad cuz the fronts will start to wear and get loud and drive you insane... and you MUST keep the front aligned perfectly and i would HIGHLY recommend some cc plates to really adjust the fronts to keep them wearing really smooth. I am on my 3rd set of 275/40/17s on 17 by 9 inch rims and my car is droped 1.3 inches i have NO issues with turning or anything, sure it rubs at a full lock but its bad for the car to hold the wheel at a full lock anyway.
i would buy 17 by 9s all around rotate them EVERY oil change and align every 6k unless they stay in alignment just get them checked by a GOOD shop and you may want cc plates due to the little wider front tires will wear on the inside faster even with stock specs on alignment.

i have 17x9's on my 200 stang with 275's all around w/o cc plates and the front tires stick out about .25- .5 of and inch of the wheel well. you can get 255 in front and 275 in back but can't rotate them but will be better for your allignment and tire wear.

in all fairness, I've been running stock tires, and they've been in the same place, except for one, for 35,000 miles, and they're still lookin' just dandy... this is the advantage to the v-6 Mustang.... that and I hung beside a 94-98 Mustang GT today, VERY happy about that

yes I would because you will have to buy new tires every 6months or so. I have 17x9's on my car with a 25540R17 in tire all around. You will be able to rotate you tires every 3500 miles. It will save you money in the long run.

17 by 9 rims require a 275 40 17 to look correct they can run a 245 or so.. but it looks stupid. I had 255s on my 03s when i got them OMG it was a horrible looking set up and everyone that has done it regrets it... so dont.

I have 17X8 and I think my car looks cool. Interesting people are more concerned with cool than performance
Cobra's until 03 came with 17X8's only the 95 and 00 Cobra R had 17X9's
