Hey guys could anyone tell me what performance help a torque converter would provide to a 03' v6 automatic..and what would you best guess be on a quote. And shift kits should be useful for a automatic,, right? what would a quote be on a shiftkit.. and brand?
www.howstuffworks.com go there and read about torque converters. They multiply torque thru the tranny at a higher ratio. an aftermarket one will reduce your 1/4 by .5-.6sec. get a tranny cooler with one. Get a PI Stallion 2800 stall if you get one.
Shift kit will help too. It firms up the shifts to where they are really quick. Might take off .05sec on your 1/4, but it does help the clutches in the tranny live longer.
moving to drivetrain.

www.converter.com do a search on yahoo. you have to do some of your own research if you want to know about what you are going to be putting in your car.
