Damn, 355hp for a base model v6. The GT would have to be upwards of 400+ and the GT 500 of course would be a refined, smooth, elegant 650, that really feels like 200, because I'm sure it would gain another 500lbs.

I am thinking the gt500 will stay at 540 or right at for the upcomming years, but the GT needs a boost to 400 or near to it.

So a big v6 with a turbo can make NA V8 power?
Honestly, the biggest problem I'd have with buying one is that I'd miss the V8 sound.

Yea, I agree. But Ford isn't really putting EcoBoost in for the power alone. EcoBoost will be popular on cars like the Ford Fusion, who don't really have to worry about those people who want the V8 sound. Gas mileage is the biggest factor with EcoBoost.

Even so, I'd still like to see the numbers on it. LS1s get better gas mileage than any V6 I've ever owned

The LS1 was made by the hand of God though. He doesn't settle for anything less than perfection.

Hey I didn't mean it like that, it's just really the truth
4.0 Jeep and 4.3 S-10 6 bangers respectively, they sucked up some petrol
edit: also the God thing

Idk, 22mpg in the fusion really doesn't seem that great. It doesn't seem that bad in a 350+ mustang, but then the ratings are never right anyways.
It will probably only average 15-18.
You can do that in a cobra and get more hp and the sound.
