I have a 00 GT (auto) and for some reason it likes to just idle down and die. As long as the RPMS are up the car has no issues.
Problem usually happens in the morning with Heater On and Headlights.(its cold in LA in the morning 5amish)
Mods:
Flow Master Exhaust pipes
BBK Intake
BBK TB 70mm
GMS Ford 2V Hot-Street Coil Pack
Optima Redtop
Audio:
Pioneer Indash
Also have a right turn signal out. (waitin till tomorrow because I have no headlights being delivered.) just replaced the serp belt with a shitty gatorback from autozone.
Now once the car completly warms up and sits for awhile it seems like the rpms go from a crappy 400 idle to a strong 700 idle.
Do you think maybe its a MAF sensor or a MAP sensor?
I do not have a predator or anything to read codes until later 2day (maybe) or tomorrow. Still waitin on UPS.
Anyone have any ideas?
Yes I searched Prior to posting but its still early . :-D

The IAC is my guess, especially now that the weather has turned cold. They tend to mess up in colder weather more often. I personally would replace it, the last thing you want is to be in the middle of taking a corner and your car die... guess what no power steering.

To check your IAC:
Startup the car, and unplug your IAC while it's idling. If it tries to stall or runs rough, it is working properly. If it runs the same, it's bad
